I also know I haven’t been here long. Sorry but as I said from the beginning this was a name I had until I found a permanent home. I am also still planning to keep trying to get what was my first home on the web, HeathCates.com. But ever since it was taken from me in the midst of a domain registrar going under I knew I might never get it back. Heath.fm is now taking its and heathcates.info’s place.

Why Heath.fm? You may not be asking this but I will tell you anyway. First, it’s simple and easy to remember. If I tell you to go to heathcates.info, favrallon.com, etc. you may not remember it but surley you can remember Heath.fm. Secondly, I love music and .fm has that feel. Finally, and maybe most important, it was available.

There are not as many photos as I normally take but we had to get everything worked out for next week. As far as pics after we took them off the grill all I can say is we tore them up and it didn’t look pic worthy. I had a great time and I’m glad we did it. We are going to be a little snug in our 15′ x 15′ space we are getting for next weeks competition on campus so we had to setup and make sure everything would fit. We ended up dropping 2 tables but I think we got to keep everything else. I am going to work on streaming the entire event next weekend but no promises. Sometimes BBQ and tech don’t like each other. If I do I’ll post it on twitter and facebook and probably here closer to time.

Here are some pics from our practice. You may or may not recognize everyone but the team consist of Brian Brown, Dallas Bunkley, Brian Oneil, Zac Boman, Jonathan Middleton and myself. Several of us play in the Opelika Poker Tour so we dubbed ourselves the Opelika Porker Tour for competition and have shirts being printed for the competition coming up.

It is a bit sad however that I don’t get spring break anymore. But, living vicariously through my teacher wife I took a day off and headed to Atlanta with our friends Nathan & Tiana. We had a lot of fun, though nothing to roudy and noone hanging out of cars, and we made out rounds. You kiddos out there will soon see how wild us old folks can be. We went to Lennox Square Mall, The Varsity, Ikea, the Sweatwater Brewing Company and finally P.F. Changs. Here are a few pics so you can feel as if you were right there with us.

Spring Break is not officially over for Martha so I may have another moment of fun soon but no promises.

So as you can see we ate out nearly every meal. We also had a birthday party for my brother Will but since he’s old he got stuff for his new washer and dryer and car tag. I took no pictures.
